I just realized that my last blog post was almost 4 years ago!
I haven’t been able to update the blog for several reasons, but I’m relatively active on Instagram.
I just wanted to give a quick update on what I’m working on. This is still much under progress but it is something that I’ve wanted to do for a while. It will take some time to finish, but good things don’t come easy…
Over these last years I’ve seen that information on muscle hypertrophy is all over the place. This is not surprising in the fitness industry. However, I’ve come to realize that whenever I want to post on a specific topic (to either give my opinion or to correct something), it entails having to explain a lot of other fundamental information that is essential for understanding what is being discussed. Simply put, it takes a lot of time, effort and its impossible to do in the Instagram format. This is untenable.
This is why I started to write a series of articles on all-things muscle hypertrophy, going from the molecular aspects to the muscle tissue level, explained in a simple manner. Again, during this, I realized that it will take much more to properly explain all concepts, as a solid (but not excessively detailed) basis in molecular and cellular biology is necessary.
On the other hand, my time is limited and I cannot work full time on this. So things are going slower than expected.
In the end, I don’t know what form this will take, but I’m inclined to make it in the form of a short e-book for a reasonable price. I plan to post excerpts here in the blog.
In any case, I just wanted to post an update on what will eventually come from my end. I’m happy to exchange ideas and discuss so feel free to contact me by Instagram or via the contact form in this website.
PD. I really prefer the blog format than the Instagram format, so I may start updating the blog with an extended version of my Instagram posts, if time permits.
